Data controller

Data we collect

SurfSkate.app is a static informational website. We do not have registration forms, login systems, or collect personal data directly.

However, the following third-party services may collect data automatically:

Google Analytics

Collects anonymous browsing data for statistical purposes:

  • IP address (anonymized)
  • Browser type and operating system
  • Pages visited and visit duration
  • Traffic source (search engine, direct link, etc.)

Legal basis: Explicit consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). We implement Google Consent Mode v2: by default, analytics and advertising cookies are denied. They are only activated if you accept the banner.

Google Ads / AdSense

May collect data to display personalized advertising:

Affiliate links (Amazon and other retailers)

SurfSkate.app participates in the Amazon Associates program and in affiliate programs of other retailers (SkatePro, Blue Tomato, Evo, Tactics). When you click one of these links and complete a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

We use Amazon OneLink, an official Amazon script that automatically redirects the link to your local Amazon storefront (Amazon.com, Amazon.es, etc.) based on your location. We do not collect or store this information: the redirect happens entirely in your browser.

When you click an affiliate link, the retailer (Amazon or other) sets a cookie that allows them to attribute the purchase. That cookie is governed by the retailer's own privacy policy, not by ours. We do not set any affiliate cookies of our own.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) to support the editorial and technical costs of running the site. You can avoid any affiliate tracking by not clicking these links.

Purpose of processing
